Playground for Good

Join Us in Spreading Joy to Children in Hospitals

We’ve seen the magic of Nex Playground firsthand, bringing smiles and moments of joy to kids undergoing medical treatment. Now, we’re on a mission to share this joy with even more children—and we need your help to make it happen!

If you know a children’s hospital or a hospital with a pediatric ward that could benefit from Nex Playground, let us know. Together, we can make a lasting impact for those who need it most.
“I am a Gaming Technology Specialist within the Child Life Department at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. I have been using the Nex Playground since February 2024. I joined the FB group and was amazed by how supportive the community is of movement based gaming. I have a passion for adaptive and accessible gaming, and I saw that the Nex would track body movement, so I ordered one myself to see if it would work with patients regardless of their ability. On the first day, I set it up for a young girl with Cerebral Palsy and was excited to see the system “read her” appropriately despite one of her arms being contracted. Her arm was not able to fully extend, but Whack-A-Mole was still able to read both of her hand placements correctly. She had a great time playing! That was when I knew that this is an exciting new resource for inclusive gaming! I could picture all kinds of scenarios that would help in the hospital setting.”
